Water marks on ceiling – these can sometimes look like a shadow or even a spot of moisture that is only seen in certain light.
Ridge cappings becoming loose and or pointing cracked – this may not be easy to spot unless you go on your roof, but it’s worth checking.
Dirty roof and/or tree litter and weed growth – which means that your roof won’t be protected from the elements anymore. Paint is a protective layer that coats the roof to extend its longevity.
Broken tiles and tiles that may have moved – are a sure sign that your roof needs repairing.
